Day School
Our Dog Dayschool program is the perfect blend of structured training and social enrichment, combining the best of our daycare and board & train services. Running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, this program allows you to drop your dog off for a full day of focused obedience training, social skills, and rest, with pickup at the end of each day.
Designed for social dogs who need fine-tuning in their obedience, Dayschool offers consistent practice in a controlled environment with the benefit of real-world distractions. A minimum three-week commitment ensures continuity, and weekly lessons with you are included so you can stay involved and build on your dog’s progress at home.
This program offers a well-rounded mix of training and enrichment, including…

Polite Leash Walking

Settle on Place

Long line Recalls

Treadmill Workouts

Skill-building through play

3 Free Pack Walks
How to Get Started
Interested in enrolling your dog in our Dog Dayschool program? The first step is to schedule a consultation. During this session, we’ll meet with you and your dog to assess their behaviour, discuss your training goals, and determine if Dayschool is the right fit. We’ll also explain how the program works, what to expect each week, and answer any questions you may have. This consultation ensures we can tailor the experience to your dog’s needs and set you both up for success.

At Taylor’ed Canines, the health and safety of the dogs in our care is a top priority. To maintain a safe and healthy environment in our Dayschool program, the following requirements must be met:
-
Dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations: DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies (Rabies required for dogs over 5 months of age).
-
A negative fecal test result from the last 30 days is required before starting the program.
-
Intact dogs are accepted, however, females in heat are not permitted to attend during their cycle.
These measures help us ensure all dogs in the program stay healthy, happy, and safe.
